Largest Electricity Bulk-Purchasing Program in the Commonwealth
Beginning in 2014, planning began on what would become the largest Community Electricity Aggregation (CEA) program in Massachusetts, the second largest in the country.
Composed of the 25 municipalities listed below, this ongoing bulk-purchasing program launched in January 2016 with the goals of providing a new level of competitive choice, long-term price stability, and reduced electricity rates for participating residents and businesses.
Disclaimer: There is no guarantee of savings under CEA as compared to your utility’s basic service rate because the utility electric supply charge changes every six months for residential and small business customers and every three months for large business customers.
